Bulk material sampling

Answers "does this material contain asbestos?" The inspector takes a physical sample of the tile, plaster, insulation, or siding, and the lab reports the asbestos type and percentage. This is what nearly every homeowner, remodel, and good-faith survey needs first.

Air (clearance) testing

Answers "is the air safe now?" Air samples measure airborne fiber concentration — used for post-abatement clearance before reoccupancy, or to check exposure where a material has been damaged or disturbed.
